Born in Nagasaki, Japan, Yuli grew up in Hong Kong and United Kingdom and has lived
in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States and Southern Mexico for the past decade.

She studied Fine Arts at Byam Shaw School of Art in London, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from
the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and a Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

Yuli currently lives in Northern New Mexico.
